TODAY AT CONCORDIA
PICNIC CELEBRATION Next Sunday After the 10:30 am service we will celebrate Concordia Lutheran Church’s 60th Anniversary with a Family Potluck Lunch. We will gather for a lunch of Brats & Hotdogs on Buns, and picnic goodies like Salads, Baked Beans, Hot Dishes & Desserts. Free-will offering will help cover costs of meats.
MAY 20 VBS FAMILY PROGRAM REGISTRATION which will run July 24, 25 & 26, 6:00-8:30 pm, for children, youth & adults. Registration will be between services and after the 10:30 service. Project: Clean Water mission fund drive will continue through VBS. Your donations will help us reach our goal of $500. You can include donations in your offering and mark the Memo line Project Clean Water.

NARTHEX FUND There is good news from the building modernization work team! Our architect, Krech O'Brien Mueller of Inver Grove Heights, has agreed to undertake the team's selection of the Narthex as our highest priority and the focal point for the first project. Contributions to the building fund have been coming in. As soon as the fund reaches $5000 the architects and engineers will do an in-depth analysis of our building's structure and then present us with three alternative design concepts and contractors' cost estimates for our consideration. Please make sure any contributions for this purpose are earmarked for the Narthex remodeling. Questions? Call John Lally or Dr. Scott Stinson. As of April 29 our fund is at $870.
SALAD SUPPER Rachel Circle is inviting all the women of Concordia to join them for a salad supper on Tuesday, May 22nd at 5:00 p.m. We will enjoy some great fellowship, food, and time together. Bring a salad to share; beverages and dessert will be provided! We will discuss a Women’s Community Outreach project for the fall of 2012; bring your ideas! Hope to see you there.
