TANGLED BLUE IN CONCERT!
Christian band Tangled Blue will be in concert right here at Concordia on Sunday, September 12th at 3:00 PM. This caffeinated folk rock band is great fun for people of all ages. Come and check them out and be sure to bring a friend!
EDUCATION OPEN HOUSE
Sunday, Sept. 12
PART 1: 9 am Worship Service (one service only)
An inspirational Worship Service kicks off a new year of Christian Education programs at Concordia. All ages are welcome. Worship Service includes: “Tangled Blue”, a talented duo, musicians Aimee and Joel, performing a folk-rock blend of Christian songs incorporating Latin and electronic percussion, acoustic and electric guitars. They perform throughout the U.S. at churches, coffee shops, colleges and festivals.

Overview of Opportunities for Children, Youth & Adults in Concordia’s Educational Programs
PART 3: 10:30 am Congregational Potluck

Keep on bringing ice cream buckets and plastic food containers for our take-out service.
BOOYA UPDATE We need your help for our upcoming Booya which is set for Sunday, Sept. 26. Please look for sign up sheets for the Booya and the many ways you can help. We need volunteers to cut vegetables, bake items for the Bake Sale, help setting up and cleaning up. If a lot of us chip in, it only takes a little of your time. All proceeds from this event will go to the following:

CROSSWAYS Bible Study
will begin September 9th at 7 pm. Crossways is an in depth study of the Bible’s story from beginning to end. Please call the office at 651-451-0309 to register for class before August 29.

DUCK RACE (NEIGHBORS FUNDRAISER) The Neighbors’ Mississippi River Duck Race, a fundraiser for our local food shelf, is Sept 18, 11am – 3pm, Kaposia Landing, SSP. Carnival games, food, and raffle, & more. Sponsor/adopt a duck and get a chance at great prizes. Adopt a duck by visiting the Neighbor’s offices, 213-13th Ave, or online at www.neighborsmn.org, or submit form by mail. Get information on the hall tables.
